Know of an aspiring Travel Counsellor or Supervisor/Manager?
TICO partnered with leading adult learning provider Oliver’s earlier this year to offer the TICO Travel Counsellor and Supervisor/Manager exams. The platform is easy-to-use and allows individuals to write their exams online, anywhere and anytime. The exam is e-proctored via webcam and microphone.
Because the travel industry is attractive to many people, TICO continues to monitor the marketplace for individuals selling travel are not TICO-certified and affiliated with a registered travel agency.
Do you know someone who is looking to enter the industry as a TICO-certified Travel Counsellor or is interested in taking the next step by becoming a Supervisor/Manager?
Ringing in the New Year with online renewals
TICO is constantly striving to become more efficient and effective in the way we deliver services to registrants.
One of the key touchpoints all registrants have with TICO is during your yearly registration renewal, which is why we are pleased to launch a registrant portal for online registration renewals in early 2020.
The launch will be phased, with new enhancements coming online throughout the next year.
What can I expect?
Beginning in early 2020, registrants who are approaching their renewal will receive an email from TICO, with information about how to create an account on the online platform.
Once logged in, you’ll be able to view your invoice and download your renewal package. And, you’ll be able to complete your registration renewal payment by credit card within the portal. The existing online banking payment option will continue to be offered (click here for more details).
What will future enhancements include?
Once the initial platform has launched, TICO will add new features, such as the ability to make changes to registration details online. Later in 2020, the online portal will allow for a fully digital renewal process, eliminating the need for paperwork in most renewals.
More information
More information and detailed steps on how to complete your registration renewal online will be sent as your renewal date approaches. We’re continuously working to enhance our customer service experience and welcome any feedback once the online portal launches early next year.
